…are something hard to find.

Ha, now that I’ve captured the search engine’s attention and yours as well I’ll go onto ranting about our world political scene and why the price of a gallon of milk is what it is today…

Ok, for real – I’ve create a new page where I am adding books from my library, I might enter a short review of the book and what think about the author. I am very picky when it comes to books and music so I try to choose books or CDs that will actually teach me something.

Lately I am getting into Buddhism and so if you happen to know more about the topic and would like to share a book (the name of the book that is) with me, I’ll be more than welcome to know about it.

Also, I am launching a campaign to promote reading: based on the lists of books that you see on the “books” page you might be able to think of a book I might like. So, if you think you find a book I would like to read let me know and we will do an exchange, I will ask you what kind of reading you do like, I will go and conduct a mighty search for a book you might find interesting and will buy it for you and send it your way while you send me the book you found for me.

The idea behind is to promote thinking, real, deep, serious thinking into what might be a good book for somebody else. You never know, you might stumble upon a book or topic you also end up liking.

I have the idea that one of the most gratifying things in life is the possibility to find something new that engages us. What better way than a book to find it.

Books are good, read them.

Disclaimer: This is not meant to make any profit, the purpose of this idea is to promote culture, the books I get will become my property and the books I buy for anyone else will become the property of the person I send it to.  All transactions will required some level of communication before the actual exchange (I need to know who I am talking to in order to know what kind of book I am going to buy to that person).

Thanks!
