Personal branding
I think that a personal brand goes beyond a motto or a sentence. To me is hard to accept that a sentence is able to enclose or capture my thought process. I think it is all about context: In an interview I would say something like: I deliver what you need (vague enough for a interview as PM or executive assistant).
But that takes out so much of who I am and how I think. If you ask me on the street to define myself in a short sentence I would say: Autodidact (can’t get shorter than that eh?)
But I am also a humorist, I like to play devil’s advocate when necessary, I am stubborn sometimes and I am definitely a bad joke teller. (ok none of that tells you how think)
The way I think is different, if I had to capture the way I think in 5-10 words I would go with something like: I analyze and defy the status quo to find solutions. (phew, those were 10 words exactly, I was afraid I would get a fine by the Personal Branding Administration)
I like the idea of short speeches, something that you can say in 30 seconds to transmit who you are and what you can provide to the person in front of you. Again, it might also depend on the context so it is important to know your audience.
